Power Supply
The micro can be powered through a USB cable or by connecting a 3V battery pack to the battery connector. It can also be powered through the 3V and GND rings on the edge connector, but care is needed.
The 3V and GND rings can also provide power to external circuits. The board has a voltage regulator that can supply up to 300 mA and includes thermal protection to help protect against short circuits.
